The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has inaugurated Dr Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu as its new President along with the National Executive Council Members for 2023-2025.
During the handover and inauguration ceremony, Dr Muhammad said he would ensure that ICT is at top gear in the country in a bid to achieve national development.
He also said efforts will be made to take ICT to the grassroots as no organisation or nation can thrive without inclusiveness. He urged the Minister for of Communications and the Digital Economy to work with the relevant stakeholders to support its agenda.
In his remarks, the Immediate Past President of Nigeria Computer Society, Professor Adesina Simon Sodiya emphasised the need to do more in the area of skills acquisition to create a situation where the country can build its own robots and commercialise them.
