The 31st IFIP/IEEE Conference on Very Large-Scale Integration – System on Chip (VLSI-SoC 2023) will be held on the beautiful campus of the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from 15-18 October 2023. This is just next door to the cosmopolitan, bustling city of Dubai, host of World Expo 2020.
Sponsored by IFIP WG 10.5 (Design and Engineering of Electronic Systems), the conference will explore the theme: “VLSI Innovations for Trustworthy AI”. The technical program of the conference will feature seven regular sessions, four special sessions, one poster session, one PhD forum and one student forum.
Session topics span a whole range of cutting-edge research by international research groups from more than 20 countries, with topics including AI Hardware Acceleration, Digital and SoC Design, In-memory Computing, Design for Test, Hardware Security, Electronic Design Automation and Emerging Computing Paradigms.
Opening and luncheon keynotes by eminent speakers from academia and industry are scheduled over the three days of the conference. Unique to this year’s conference is a whole day of tutorials and workshops on 15th October, including a full-day, hands-on workshop on the design of AI chips by Cadence Design Systems.
