The third annual Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Good Global Summit (AIGGS), will take place from 28 to 31 May 2019 at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Originally the brainchild of IFIP stalwart, Stephen Ibaraki, the event is organized by ITU in partnership with XPRIZE Foundation, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and over 30 sister United Nations (UN) agencies.
The aim of the 2019 Summit is to connect AI innovators with problem owners to accelerate progress towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and to ensure the trusted, safe and inclusive development of AI and equitable access to its benefits.
The 2019 event will build on outcomes from the 2017 and 2018 Summits to focus on practical AI solutions that are able to yield long-term benefits.
