The revamped WG 9.5: From ‘Virtuality & Society’ to ‘Our Digital Lives’

We are Petros, Brad and Kathrin — a diverse team of academics interested in digital technologies and their influences on different aspects of everyday life. We took over the leadership of WG 9.5 a year ago at HCC13 in Poznań, Poland and we are happy to announce that our revamped WG name, ‘Our Digital Lives’, was approved earlier this month.

Our new name and scope allow us to more accurately contribute to current discussions on the ‘digital’ in a variety of domains, touching on any issues relative to ‘our digital lives’. We are currently in the process of organising a few exciting events likely to lead to opportunities for collaborations across the academic and practitioner communities, so stay tuned www.ifip95wg.org. If you are interested in becoming a member and being added to our mailing list, email Kathrin (kathrin.bednar@wu.ac.at) directly.
