The Latin American Center for Computing Studies (CLEI) has announced that the 2019 Latin American Computing Conference will be held in Panama from 30 September – 3 October. An annual event organised by CLEI since 1974, the conference rotates amongst Latin American countries and was last held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The conference brings together hundreds of researchers, professionals, teachers and students in a forum to discuss topics relating to Computer Science, Information Systems and other areas of Information Technology, as well as the direct impacts of ICT on society as a whole. Its objective is to exchange ideas, experiences and research results in areas of interest to the community through conferences, workshops, tutorials and panels.
CLEI 2019 will be held in Panama City, Panama from September 30 to October 4, 2019, under the local organisation of the Universidad de Panamá, the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá and the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí, and with the support of SENACYT. The conference includes nine symposiums and several associated and satellite events.
