The 4th ACM Europe Celebration of Women in Computing (womENcourage 2017) will take place at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
womENcourage is an excellent opportunity for women in computer science and related disciplines to network and learn about career opportunities.
The program includes technical presentations and discussions related to issues in academic and industrial research. Workshops on 7 September will cover a hands-on introduction to high performance computing; starting a new a new Celebration or ACM-W Chapter in your community; the Greenfoot Development Environment, presented by Oracle Academy; the Bloomberg CodeCon Competition; from Personalization to Data… and Beyond, presented by Accenture; and Rethinking Network Security. A poster session and hackathon will add to the collaborative, fun and supportive environment.
womENcourage is being held in conjunction with the ACM Europe Conference.
