The 34th IFIP/IEEE International Conference on Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI-SoC 2026) has officially Called for Papers. The conference will take place on 11-14 October 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus.
Sponsored by IFIP, IEEE CEDA and IEEE CASS, VLSI-SoC has established itself as a premier international forum for researchers and industry professionals working at the forefront of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) and System-on-Chip (SoC) design. Over more than three decades, the conference series has been hosted in leading technology hubs worldwide, fostering global collaboration and innovation.
VLSI-SoC 2026 welcomes original research contributions addressing state-of-the-art advances in architectures, circuits, devices, design automation, verification, testing, dependability and security. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: AI and ML architectures, digital circuit design and synthesis, embedded systems, emerging technologies, low-power and thermal-aware design, sensing and signal processing technologies, smart systems, system specification and verification, and test methodologies.
The conference also emphasises forward-looking computing paradigms, including heterogeneous systems, neuromorphic and brain-inspired architectures, and energy-efficient and approximate computing solutions, reflecting the evolving challenges of modern silicon systems.
Key deadlines are as follows:
- Abstract submission: 20 April 2026
- Full paper submission: 27 April 2026
- Author notification: 22 June 2026
- Camera-ready submission: 13 July 2026
Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE conference proceedings and made available through IEEE Xplore. Selected best papers will be invited for submission to a special issue of the ACM Journal on Emerging Technologies in Computing Systems. Contributions from special sessions and the PhD & Student Forum may also be considered for extended publication in a Springer book volume.
Held in the vibrant Mediterranean city of Limassol, Cyprus, the conference offers an inspiring setting that combines rich cultural heritage with a dynamic innovation ecosystem.
Researchers and industry practitioners are invited to submit original contributions and join the global VLSI-SoC community in shaping the next generation of silicon systems.
