The 34th IFIP/IEEE International Conference on Very Large-Scale Integration 2026 will feature an exceptional keynote line-up, bringing together internationally recognised leaders from academia and industry at the forefront of VLSI and System-on-Chip design.
Alongside a strong technical program, VLSI-SoC 2026 will feature the following keynote speakers:
Keynote Speakers
- Giovanni De Micheli (EPFL, Switzerland)
- Valeria Bertacco (University of Michigan, USA)
- Freddy Gabbay (Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel)
Industrial Keynote Speakers
- Victor Grimblatt (Synopsys Chile Innovation Center)
- Odysseas Economides (HardwareX Engineering, Cyprus)
- Wolfgang Ecker (Technical University of Munich, Germany)
Sponsored by International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), IEEE CEDA, IEEE CASS, i-FORM and Infineon Technologies, VLSI-SoC has established itself as a premier international forum for researchers and industry professionals working at the forefront of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) and System-on-Chip (SoC) design. Over more than three decades, the conference series has been hosted in leading technology hubs worldwide, fostering collaboration and innovation across the global semiconductor community.
The conference also highlights emerging computing paradigms, including heterogeneous systems, neuromorphic and brain-inspired architectures, and energy-efficient and approximate computing approaches, reflecting the evolving demands placed on modern silicon systems.
Accepted papers will be published in IEEE conference proceedings and made available through IEEE Xplore. Selected best papers will be invited for submission to a special issue of the ACM Journal on Emerging Technologies in Computing Systems. Contributions from special sessions and the PhD and Student Forum may also be considered for extended publication in a Springer volume.
Key deadlines are as follows:
- Abstract submission: 20 April 2026
- Full paper submission: 27 April 2026
- Special session proposal: 27 April 2026
- Author notification: 22 June 2026
- PhD and Student Forum submission: 2 July 2026
- Camera-ready submission: 13 July 2026
VLSI-SoC 2026 will be held in Limassol, Cyprus, from 11–14 October 2026, offering a vibrant Mediterranean setting that combines rich cultural heritage with a dynamic innovation environment.
Researchers and industry practitioners are invited to submit original contributions and join the global VLSI-SoC community in shaping the next generation of silicon systems.
