Since the launch of the new ifip.org website, we have received great feedback from the community – and we know that with any new platform, it takes a bit of time to explore. So here is a quick guide to features you might not have noticed but are well worth checking out:
1. Improved event filtering and archive access
Whether you are planning to attend or just looking for past events, the new Events section lets you filter by date, country, acronym, lead TC, and Index.
2. Dedicated space for strategic initiatives like IP3
Looking for details on IP3? You will now find everything you need – frameworks, documentation, and contact information more quickly and easily.
3. Easier access to IFIP Publications
You can now access IFIP publications in two areas on IFIP’s new site. First, by clicking on “Publication Types”, you can see an overview of IFIP’s different publications, including IFIP Journals, IFIP Select, IFIP Springer Publications, and the IFIP Digital Library.
This page also includes various contact points, including for IFIP copyright management and the IFIP Publications Committee Chair, as well as useful links, such as to the IFIP Author Code of Conduct.
The second page related to IFIP Publications, “Digital Library”, is next to the Publication Types page on the navigation bar.
This is a convenient and direct link to the external IFIP Digital Library (https://ifip.hal.science/). There is also a link to this site on the Publication Types page as well, but by clicking “Digital Library” you can get there more quickly.
4. Explore IFIP’s history on the new website
If you have not yet explored it, the new website makes it much easier to access IFIP’s rich history. From leadership timelines to award recipients – you will now find it all clearly organized in one place.
Take a look and revisit more than 65 years of milestones:
