Two workshops organised by IFIP TC 12 (Artificial Intelligence) at the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2025 in Montréal, Canada have led to the publication of two new volumes in the Springer AICT series.
The first book, Artificial Intelligence for Knowledge Acquisition and Management, is now available and explores advances in AI methods for capturing, structuring and managing knowledge across domains.
A second volume, Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability and Global Security, will be released in May. This publication addresses the role of AI in tackling global challenges, including sustainability and security, and highlights emerging research at the intersection of technology and societal impact.
Together, these publications reflect the breadth of current research within the TC12 community and its ongoing contribution to advancing artificial intelligence in both technical and applied contexts.
