Nominations are being accepted throughout July for the inaugural SEARCC International Awards, to be presented at a gala dinner in Sydney, Australia on 1st December 2016.
The awards, which will recognise excellence in three professional categories – ICT Professional of the Year, ICT Researcher of the Year and ICT Educator of the Year – are designed to encompass the three key areas in which ICT professionals operate.
SEARCC, the South East Asian Regional Computer Confederation, is a regional consortium of ICT professional associations that includes societies from Australia, Fiji, India, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and the People’s Republic of China (Taiwan).
The SEARCC International Awards will be presented in conjunction with the ACS Reimagination Thought Leaders Summit and the ACS Digital Disruptors Awards, which are being held at The Star in Sydney.
Entries for the awards can be submitted up until midnight on 31 July (AEST) via the Awards website at http://reimagination16.acs.org.au/searcc/searcc-international-awards/
All submissions must be accompanied by a $125 administration fee, paid online via credit card at time of entry, or they will not be included in the judging. Applicants can enter in more than one category, if relevant.
