Would you like to take a peek behind the scenes at IFIP’s new office?

Just like the website, the IFIP office got an upgrade this year. After many decades headquartered in Laxenburg, Austria, the IFIP Secretariat moved to a new, modern office in Mödling, Austria this past January.

The charming town of Mödling can be found just south of Vienna, well-connected via public transport while also being part of the Vienna Woods, making it a beautiful green location.

The new office comes with many benefits: the newer building is more sustainable, with a green roof, passive cooling/heating and solar panels. It also has more space and modern facilities for co-working and meetings.

Check out this video for a closer look at IFIP’s new facilities and enjoy the warm welcome from IFIP General Secretary, Anatolii Marushchak.

We invite all IFIP affiliates – from TC or WG members to event organisers – to drop into the Secretariat in person and say hello. Read an IFIP book from the 60s, have a coffee on the terrace and discuss the latest in computing research. We look forward to seeing you!
