The 7th IFIP Internet of Things (IoT) Conference will take place in Nice, France from 6-8 November this year. IFIP’s annual event dedicated to IoT research, innovations and applications, this event will continue to emphasise the multidisciplinary nature of the IoT world.
This year’s program will include three high profile keynote speakers:
- Professor Erol Gelenbe, Polish Academy of Sciences to talk about how AI Detects and Mitigates Cyber-Attacks;
- Professor Maryline Laurent, Télécom SudParis, Institut Polytechnique de Paris speaking on Privacy in the IoT: Evolution and Expectations; and
- Professor Bernard P. Zeigler, University of Arizona, discussing DEVS as a language for IoT System Design.
The event also includes a full day of workshop on the DesiGn, VeRificAtion and VALidation of IoT Systems (GRAAL4IoT), sponsored by six European projects which will introduce their IoT research topics.
IoT encompasses a wide range of topics such as communication network protocols, cyberphysical systems, embedded systems, data analytics and machine learning algorithms, software and hardware solutions and models for IoT and CPS. Additionally, it considers social, legal, ethical and economic aspects, with the aim of enabling a vast array of services in areas like e-health, mobility, energy, manufacturing, smart cities and agriculture, among others. IoT deployment needs also to take into consideration the security, privacy and social aspects of networking, which need to be fully investigated to ensure real added value for IoT users.
IFIP IoT 2024 is ideal for people and organisations involved in researchers, users, user organisations, the ICT industry, authorities and regulators.
