Over the years, Nigeria Computer Society has been consistent in developing and promoting the adoption of emerging technologies for enhancing national development.

As part of the series of capacity building and developmental programs aimed at transforming Nigeria through digital innovations, NCS introduced the Technology Innovation Development Program (TIDP) to support the development of innovative solutions, tools, and technologies to enhance the growth of the nation.  The program also supports individuals in private or public organisations willing to conduct developmental research and innovation in IT.

A five-day bootcamp was organised for five groups that emerged as the most innovative after a series of pitches to further guide/mentor them on possible ways to develop their products. The bootcamp also featured technical presentations by IT Industry experts.
