The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has announced the launch of its Innovation Hub, alongside an open call for partners to support this new initiative.
Designed to strengthen ITU’s ability to respond to a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the Innovation Hub will focus on applying AI, data and digital tools to real operational challenges, accelerating innovation through experimentation and rapid prototyping.
ITU is inviting Member States, industry and academia to contribute through technical expertise, tools or financial support. The initiative offers a practical opportunity for partners to collaborate on real-world solutions, contribute to the responsible use of AI and help shape digital transformation across the organisation and the wider UN system.
Expressions of interest are open until 19 May 2026, with implementation activities expected to begin later in the year. For more information, email transformation@itu.int
