IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) has just held its second expert group meeting on October 24, which focused on applying the European Common Framework (e-CF) in practice for identifying, and developing, relevant IT professional profiles.

This was also the key topic at the session on the following day, on October 25, with Belgian tech association, ‘Agoria’, where CEPIS Secretary General, Austeja Trinkunaite, presented ITPE and the work being done on updating the common framework, alongside e-CF update project leader, Jutta Breyer.

The expert group meetings are part of a continuous initiative to engage ITPE’s growing network in addressing the challenges that face the ICT profession, particularly related to the gap between a high demand of ICT skills and the low supply of a matching workforce.
