IFIP TC8 offers a comprehensive range of events across the year to promote knowledge sharing in relation to Information Systems.

PoEM 2019 Practice of Enterprise Modelling (Luxembourg) – Nov 27-29

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is organising the 12th IFIP WG 8.1 working conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling (PoEM) in Luxembourg.

The working conference aims to improve the understanding of the practice of Enterprise Modelling (EM) by offering a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. PoEM addresses topics related to Enterprise modelling, such as business innovation, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and many other interesting topics.

OASIS workshop (Munich, Germany) – Dec 14th

The IFIP 8.2 Working Group focuses on the development and use of information technologies in organizational contexts, both broadly defined. The group seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge about and improve understanding of the role and impact of information technology, and to improve the design and application of information technologies that are both useful and effective for individuals, groups, organisations and society at large. 

The OASIS workshop is open to all interested scholars and professionals who are researching in the area of organizations, information systems, and society. The unique and collegial character of the IFIP Working Group 8.2 ensures constructive, helpful and high-quality feedback. This is a great opportunity for you to share your research, meet IFIP WG 8.2 members and learn about their research in a relaxed and supportive setting.

 

CONFENIS 2019: International Conference on Research and Practical Issues of Enterprise Information Systems (Prague, Czech Republic) – Dec 16-17

CONFENIS 2019 provides an international forum for Enterprise Information System (EIS) researchers and practitioners from all over the world to come together, present and discuss their latest research findings and ideas.
