IFIP congratulates long serving Executive Committee member, A Min Tjoa on being awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art by the Republic of Austria. This extraordinary award is given exclusively to people who “have achieved general recognition and an outstanding name through particularly high achievements in science or art”.
An exceptional researcher, promoter of internationalisation in academia and advocate for sustainable IT, A Min is professor emeritus for software technology at #TUWienInformatics. He is only the second computer scientist in Austria to be awarded the Cross of Honour.
