Thank you to the Ordem dos Engenheiros (Ordem) and Ordem’s President Fernando Almeida Santos and Portugal representative in IFIP Professor, Dr. Vasco Amaral, for hosting the IFIP General Assembly (GA) at the Ordem headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal on September 19-20 and the IFIP Technical Assembly, Member Society Assembly and IP3 meetings on September 18.
For two days IFIP Member Societies representatives, Technical Committees chairs, IFIP officials and Honorary Members discussed a wide range of strategic points including:
- IFIP Strategy,
- IFIP Awards,
- Member Societies Assembly (MSA) Report,
- Development of a new IFIP website,
- IFIP Task Force on Digital Education presentation,
- IP3 activities,
- IFIP finances and more.
The GA 2025 will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, kindly hosted by Schweizer Informatik Gesellschaft.
