As the Austrian Computer Society (OCG) marks its 50th Anniversary, IFIP President Anthony Wong and the IFIP Executive Committee extend their heartfelt congratulations to OCG President Wilfried Seyruck and the entire OCG community.
This milestone not only marks five decades of outstanding service to the Austrian and international ICT communities, but also a long-standing and valued partnership with IFIP.
We would especially like to recognise and thank the many past OCG members whose contributions have significantly advanced IFIP’s mission. We are proud to note that two IFIP Presidents have come from OCG: Prof. Dr. Heinz Zemanek and Walter Grafendorfer, whose leadership and vision helped shape our global Federation.
IFIP would also like to extend special thanks to:
- Erich J. Neuhold, OCG National Representative in IFIP
- A Min Tjoa, former IFIP Honorary Secretary
- Ronald Bieber, OCG General Secretary
In addition, IFIP expresses its sincere appreciation to the following OCG representatives in IFIP Technical Committees and Working Groups for their important roles and continued support in promoting our shared values and objectives:
Konrad Baumann, Stefan Biffl, Alois Ferscha, Peter Fleissner, Andreas Bollin, Peter Hehenberger, Helmut Hlavacs, Andreas Holzinger, Christian Huemer, Barbara Kaltenbacher, Anton Knierzinger, Peter Micheuz, Aart Middeldorp, Georg Moser, Peter Reichl, Gerald Schimak, Hilda Tellioglu and Edgar Weippl.
