IFIP has announced the recipients of the 2025 IFIP Awards, recognising individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service, commitment, and contribution to advancing IFIP’s mission and the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).
These awards celebrate the achievements of professionals and researchers who have supported IFIP’s activities across its Technical Committees and Working Groups worldwide.
IFIP Fellow Awards
The IFIP Fellow Award honours individuals who have achieved distinction in the field of ICT and provided exceptional service to IFIP and the global computing community.

Distinguished Professor in Computer Information Systems whose research focuses on information security, privacy, and databases.
Professor Daniel E. O’Leary (University of Southern California, USA) – pictured to the left (Image provided)
Professor of Accounting and Information & Operations Management with expertise in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and text mining.
Professor Torkil Clemmensen (Copenhagen Business School, Denmark) – pictured to the right (Image provided)
Professor of Human-Computer Interaction whose work bridges psychology and design, with a focus on human work interaction and cultural usability.
