The 2024 IFIP International Internet of Things (IoT) Conference will take place from 6-8 November in Nice, on the French Riviera. Registrations are now open at: https://ifip-iotconference.org/registration.htm

IFIP’s annual event totally dedicated to IoT research, innovations and applications, the seventh IoT conference will continue to emphasise the multidisciplinary nature of the IoT world. IoT encompasses a wide range of topics such as communication network protocols, cyberphysical systems, embedded systems, data analytics and machine learning algorithms, software and hardware solutions and models for IoT and CPS. Additionally, it considers social, legal, ethical and economic aspects, with the aim of enabling a vast array of services in areas like e-health, mobility, energy, manufacturing, smart cities and agriculture, among other examples. IoT deployment needs also to take into consideration the security, privacy and social aspects of networking, which need to be fully investigated to ensure real added value for IoT users.

This year’s IFIP-IoT program will include three eminent keynotes:

  • Professor Erol Gelenbe, Polish Academy of Sciences will discuss how AI Detects and Mitigates Cyber-Attacks;
  • Professor Maryline Laurent, Télécom SudParis, Institut Polytechnique de Paris will explore Privacy in the IoT: Evolution and Expectations; and
  • Professor Bernard P. Zeigler, University of Arizona will present on DEVS as a language for IoT System Design.

There will also be a full day of workshops on the DesiGn, VeRificAtion and VALidation of IoT Systems (GRAAL4IoT) sponsored by six European projects which will introduce their IoT research topics.

IFIP-IoT will bring together like researchers, users, user organisations, the ICT industry, authorities and regulators involved in the IoT space.
