The ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs) 2018 will stage its Open Living Lab Days from 22-24 August 2018 in Geneva.
“Living Labs & Global Sustainability Goals: From Theories to Practice” will seek to broaden discussion on the role and potential of Living Labs as mechanisms of open and user-driven innovation in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The annual gathering of the global Living Lab community, OLLD’18 will bring together a rich ecosystem of actors to provide a forum for discussions about policy developments with high-level speakers from the United Nations, the European Union, and local and regional governments.
Participants will also engage in research sessions with experts from leading institutions and disciplines at CERN, the University of Geneva, HES.SO and beyond. Moreover, participants will experience and share knowledge with Living Labs through more than 20 dedicated workshops as well as site visits suggested by the Geneva Innovation eco-system.
Open Living Lab Days (OLLD) provide a space for public officials, companies, entrepreneurs, academics and innovators to connect and work together:
- to create new products and services,
- to set the basis for debate and exploration of theories, and
- to discuss and process policy recommendations within the practical elements of open and user-driven innovation.
