BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT releases an annual diversity report. This year, the report has been taken over by its partners at Coding Black Females. The report is supported by figures from the ONS and is looking at the experiences of black women working in Information Technology.

The report will be launched on 27th October with an online event featuring a panel discussion around some of the recommendations from the report and explore the experiences of black women working in the industry and the associated barriers. 

The panel will include: 

  • Charlene Hunter MBE, CEO of Coding Black Females,
  • Jessie Auguste, Software Engineer @ CybSafe, and
  • Paul Williams FBCS FRSA – Technical Lead, Google Cloud Voice of the Customer
