The 5th Artificial Intelligence for Knowledge Management (and Innovation) Conference – an activity of WG 12.6 – was colocated with IJCAI 17 in Melbourne.

The one-day conference took place 20th August and covered several fields of AI applied in various sectors. Proceedings are available at:

The event included two local invited talks on Semantic Data Lake by Dickson Lukose, GCS Agile and Cognitive Analytics for Resources Management in Cloud Computing by Bao Quoc Vo, School of Software and Electrical Engineering.

Other papers dealing with hot current challenges included: Detecting Influential Users in Social Network Conversations: A Linguistic Approach and Vortex – Supervised Machine Learning Video Intelligence Platform Knowledge Management for improved Situational Awareness.
